Terms and Conditions – StepByStep Travel & Tours

By using our website, making a booking, or engaging our services, you agree to the following terms:

1. Booking & Payment

• All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
• Airport transfers and tours are confirmed only after payment is received and reflected in our account.
• Payments must be made via EFT as per invoice instructions. Failure to pay within 48 hours may result in cancellation without notice.
• Prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Additional charges (fuel surcharges, tolls, parking) may apply and will be communicated in advance.

2. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

• More than 48 hours before scheduled pickup/tour start: Full refund minus R150 administration fee.
• 24–48 hours notice: 50% refund or full credit toward future booking.
• Less than 24 hours notice or no-show: 100% fee charged – no refund or credit.
• Airport transfers have stricter enforcement due to flight scheduling and fixed pickup times.

3. Liability & Responsibility

• StepByStep Travel & Tours is not liable for flight delays, missed connections, lost luggage, personal belongings, or changes in flight schedules.
• Passengers must be ready at the agreed pickup point 15 minutes early. Late passengers may forfeit the transfer without refund.
• We reserve the right to refuse service for reasons of safety, intoxication, abusive behaviour, or non-compliance with instructions (no refund in such cases).
• Maximum passengers per vehicle as stated at booking. Extra passengers may require an additional vehicle at extra cost.
• Passengers are responsible for providing accurate flight details and contact information.

4. Refunds

• Refunds are issued only for proven service failure (e.g., vehicle breakdown causing missed flight) or damage directly attributable to us.
• No refunds are given for change of mind, incorrect booking information, passenger no-show, flight changes/delays, or dissatisfaction unrelated to service failure.
• Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10–15 business days.

5. General

• Bookings are subject to vehicle and guide availability. We will notify you immediately if a booking cannot be fulfilled.
• We reserve the right to substitute vehicles or guides of equal or higher standard.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cape Town, Western Cape.
